I never was the vegan police. Good thing too. Nearly all of my friends (most people, that is) eat meat and wear animal skin, not fur, but leather bags and shoes are normal. Mehera is a family member too, part of my Meher Baba family. And if you are familiar with the life of Meher Baba, this project was not too much of a wrestle with my own personal ethics. In conclusion: vegans win no points for animals by alienating our family and friends. It's for animals: not for purity or to be "cool" or hip or whatever...
